Crashed satellite in a desert storm - Canvas Wall Art

Crashed satellite in a desert storm is the reason to stop and look at this mid-century modern desert canvas print. It brings Southwestern landscape imagery into the home as something to enjoy daily, not simply a space to fill. Desert artwork offers a landscape subject distinct from gardens and forests, pairing the appeal of arid country with relaxed home furnishings.

Mid-century modern styling gives the print a retro design connection without requiring the room to be furnished entirely in vintage pieces. The desert wall art can be displayed as a standalone picture or paired with related fine art prints. Leave enough space around the image to appreciate its detail rather than crowding it among small accessories. For a display built around living room decor, this piece keeps the focus on the image rather than a room full of matching accessories.

Decorating with desert wall art

For living room wall art, position the desert art print where it can be appreciated from the doorway and from a seat. For a more intimate den display, give it space among clay-colored accessories, wood, and woven textiles. The subject should remain clear even when everyday objects return to the room. A framed canvas print gives the desert artwork a defined border; select a framed option when ordering and use the measurements below to plan its space.

Canvas materials and framed dimensions

Our canvas prints are made with eco-friendly archival inks on 350 GSM canvas, then hand-stretched and stapled over FSC-certified, shrink-resistant wooden stretcher bars. Canvas orders arrive assembled with hanging hardware and protective packaging. Select from the size and frame options offered on this listing. Painted textures, aged surfaces, and metallic-looking effects are reproduced within the printed artwork; room furnishings and styling props are not included.

For most framed canvases, the frame adds 1.5 inches to the listed width and 1.5 inches to the listed height (not 1.5 inches per side). For example, a 16 x 24-inch canvas measures 17.5 x 25.5 inches overall when framed. Exceptions: 30 x 60, 40 x 60, and 24 x 72-inch framed canvases measure exactly those dimensions overall, including their frames.
