The lace-boned countess - Canvas Wall Art

Make the wall a place for The lace-boned countess. This Victorian-inspired skeleton and skull canvas print puts macabre imagery at the heart of the room rather than leaving the artwork as an afterthought. Macabre artwork gives a home display a more daring subject, making a natural companion to horror stories and unusual decorative objects.

Victorian-inspired styling gives the image an earlier-era character, well suited to a room with books, vintage objects, and personal keepsakes. Pair the gothic character with furniture you already enjoy, letting the skeleton and skull artwork introduce its own detail rather than copying the same motif throughout the room. The skeleton and skull wall art can be displayed as a standalone picture or paired with related fine art prints. Leave enough space around the image to appreciate its detail rather than crowding it among small accessories. For a display built around gothic wall art, this piece keeps the focus on the image rather than a room full of matching accessories.

Decorating with skeleton and skull wall art

Use it as home theater wall art above a console or beside the main seating area, or as reading nook wall decor where the subject can be enjoyed up close. Pair the skeleton and skull art print with dark furniture, books, and an edited display of curiosities; a few quiet surroundings let the image keep its own character. Canvas materials and framed dimensions

Our canvas prints are made with eco-friendly archival inks on 350 GSM canvas, then hand-stretched and stapled over FSC-certified, shrink-resistant wooden stretcher bars. Canvas orders arrive assembled with hanging hardware and protective packaging. Select from the size and frame options offered on this listing. Painted textures, aged surfaces, and metallic-looking effects are reproduced within the printed artwork; room furnishings and styling props are not included.

For most framed canvases, the frame adds 1.5 inches to the listed width and 1.5 inches to the listed height (not 1.5 inches per side). For example, a 16 x 24-inch canvas measures 17.5 x 25.5 inches overall when framed. Exceptions: 30 x 60, 40 x 60, and 24 x 72-inch framed canvases measure exactly those dimensions overall, including their frames.
